Busybear

Hi admirers, family and friends,

Apologies for the recent lack of posting.  I've been busy hosting Sarah and also Rachel, (a friend from daycare!)  It's been a blast.  I'm going through my pictures.... To tide you over, here's a sneak peak of what I've (we've) been up to over the past two weeks:

  • woken up at 4:15am to make a 5:15 train to make a 6:10 bus to make a 7:40 flight (and made all of them!)
  • hosted two potluck dinners
  • got a sunburn :\ ... then bought sunscreen
  • gambled in a casino
  • bought something in St. Tropez (just a sandwich, but still, it was expensive!)
  • home-made raclette, a traditional French melted cheese dish
  • ate ice cream on a boat
  • gained a new appreciation for the Mount St. Victoire
  • saw someone rapelling a cliff while touring the Cassis calanques by boat
  • renewed my promise to start climbing this summer
  • enjoyed champagne and macarons in my bathing suit on the beach
  • walked up a street blasting my boombox
  • gave a student detention for lying to me
  • successfully navigated maps of Venise
  • used code names to find a lost friend
  • collected seaglass for an art project like a 5-year-old
  • got a job translating the menu of a nearby creperie in exchange for free meals
  • explored Aix-en-Provence's underground bar scene with an awesome tour guide
  • read a book in French
  • explored Edith Wharton's garden
I MEANNNNNNNN IMMA BALLER!

k ttys lovers,
xoxo
